Burnie Tenns Club junior, Elliot Johnstone, has just returned from representing the Tasmanian under 14 side in Melbourne. Ellliot was a member of the three player team which included Hobart's Harry Bouchier and Alex Wolfe.
Elliot was captain of the U12 Bruce Cup Team in 2007 in Burnie, and also made the 2008 Bruce Cp side that went to Newcastle. He was a member of the U 12's State teams in 2007 and 2008 that went to Melbourne, and was a member of the under 14's team last year.
This year Elliot has been a finalist at the U14 Bushby Easter Championships and as a 14 year old made the final of the Pardey Shield ( a Tasmanian tournament for all School age Students up to age 18).
He was a semi finalist at the Rio Tinto Alcan Championships and Dunlop Junior Indoor Championships, a quarter finalist at the Tasmanian Open and Junior Masters, winner of doubles at Bushby Tasmanian Easter Tournament, Dunlop Junior Indoor Championships and Tasmanian Open and Junior Masters.
