The Burnie Tennis club was established in 1890 and has been running ever since - making it one of the oldest tennis clubs in the world.

With over a century of tradition and history behind it, the club has also managed to keep pace with the times and now boasts a state of the art complex featuring 16 hard courts - with five of these being under lights.

The club house has recently received a funding for a major renovation to bring it well and truly into the 21^st century and beyond.
