Tennis Australia hall of fame inductee, John Fitzgerald, was the guest speaker at the Semi Finals Day Luncheon on Friday.
In front of app 80 guests, John Fitzgerald, a Tennis Australia board member, shared some insights into todays game along with past highlights.
John also made some special award presentations during the function, presenting long serving Burnie Tennis Club Board and Tournament Organising member with
asilver platter from Tennis Australia in recognition of all his hard work over a long period. Thankyou very much to Shane for all his efforts.
In a lighter moment, John also presented Damien Reeve with a personally signed photograph of Chris Guccione. Damien was infamous at last years semi final for his boisterous and high decibel support of the "Gucc" and his personal message on the photograph thanked his good mate "Damo" for all his support.
